Elissa is an Associate on the Finance and Accounting team at Sandbox, where she’s an integral part of all things accounts payable and receivable. From invoicing and billing to collections and day-to-day communications, she brings patience, positivity, and organization to what can sometimes be the chaos of the process.

Before joining Sandbox, Elissa built her career at organizations including Dominion Energy, Estes Express Lines, and Apex Systems, gaining experience across collections, billing, and communications, with some time spent leading teams along the way. She brings a well-rounded view of the finance function, from the details to the bigger picture.

Favorite Way to Spend a Weekend

On a hike, cooking for a family gathering, hot coffee with foamed milk,  wine on my porch with friends, sitting by the pool with a good book, and live music on a patio or small venue.
